PHOENIX (AZFamily) — A man was hurt after falling from the second floor at Chase Field in downtown Phoenix on Wednesday.
As fans were leaving the game between the Diamondbacks and the Detroit Tigers shortly after 3 p.m., Maricopa County sheriff’s deputies were notified of an injured man in the rotunda area near the stadium’s west entrance.
Witnesses told deputies that the man had jumped onto a second-floor railing while trying to take a photo and lost his balance. He was taken to the hospital, but it’s unclear how badly he was hurt.
No other details were released, but MCSO says deputies do not suspect foul play.
