Chicago weather forecast: More rain, potentially strong storms Wednesday

CHICAGO (WLS) — More rain and storms are in the forecast for the Chicago area Wednesday.

Heavy downpours and isolated storms are expected to continue Wednesday morning, ABC7 Accuweather Meteorologist Tracy Butler.

The afternoon will see things warm up with some dry hours before more storms in the evening, Butler said.

Waves of storms in the evening could become severe, with the main threat being wind along with hail and flooding, Butler said.

The Storm Prediction Center has the entire Chicago area under a Level 2 risk for severe weather Tuesday.
