The Knicks have been stopped short of the Eastern Conference title for the past two years now, which means they came into the 2026 NBA Playoffs looking to make that final push to the Finals and at long last break that particular drought for faithful New York fans. The Knicks and the Hawks are set to tip off at 6 p.m. ET on Saturday, April 25 as the last game in an NBA Playoffs tripleheader from the NBA on NBC. NBC Sports will bring you the action live from State Farm Arena in Atlanta, with Mike Tirico on the play-by-play call, Reggie Miller on color commentary and analysis, and Zora Stephenson reporting from Courtside. You can catch it all live on NBC and streaming simultaneously on Peacock.

What to expect from Game 4 of the Knicks vs. Hawks First Round NBA Playoffs series on NBC & Peacock

The Hawks are on a two-game winning streak in this First Round series heading into Game 4, and they’ve won both games in the 2-1 series in dramatic fashion. After coming up clutch with a game-winner in Game 2, Atlanta’s CJ McCollum again stepped up to seal the deal in Game 3 on Thursday night, giving the Hawks yet another one-point victory over a Knicks squad that just hasn’t been able to close the deal over the last two matchups. 

So, what do the Knicks need to do to turn things around in front of an Atlanta crowd? Hold off Atlanta’s drive for an early lead and slow them down in clutch situations. They’ve certainly got the capacity to make it happen, particularly with All-Stars like Karl-Anthony Towns and Jalen Brunson on the squad, but it’ll be a hard fight in Atlanta for Game 4. The good news for the Knicks? Game 5 moves things back to Madison Square Garden, where they’ll be hellbent on some home court redemption.
