LA VISTA, Neb. (WOWT) – The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band is celebrating its 60th anniversary and bringing its final tour to the Omaha metro.
According to a release, the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band will visit The Astro Theater in La Vista on Saturday, June 6 at 7:30 p.m. Doors open an hour earlier.
The tour, called “All the Good Times: The Farewell Tour,” includes Brit Taylor as a special guest for the La Vista stop. The band is known for blending country with folk, rock, and bluegrass.
All ages are allowed at the concert. Tickets start at $50.90 on Ticketmaster.
The farewell tour began in March 2024 and is currently scheduled to close on June 18, 2026. La Vista was an additional date added.
Kathleen Edwards, Molly Tuttle, Hank Williams, Jr., and Jason Isbell & The 400 Unit are some of the other artists who joined the tour.
Some notable songs by the group are: “Mr. Bojangles,” “Fishin’ In The Dark,” and “An American Dream.”
