The ongoing tension between Mayor Zohran Mamdani and some of New York City’s wealthiest business leaders is escalating.
It came weeks after Mamdani posted a video calling for taxes on second homes in the city.
Kenneth Griffin, the founder of Citadel, and other ultra-wealthy business owners say they are considering leaving the city because of Mamdani’s proposed pied-à-terre tax.
