Leo De Vries managed just one hit Saturday.

It was an important hit.

The 18-year-old shortstop doubled in the 10th inning, driving in the go-ahead run in high Single-A Fort Wayne’s 3-2 win at Lake County.

De Vries was 0-for-3 with a strikeout before his double plated the automatic runner. He also committed his 19th error.

De Vries was 0-for-4 on Friday after rejoining the TinCaps following his participation in the All-Star Futures Game.

De Vries is hitting .245/.355/.401 with six homers and six steals in 73 games this year. He is ranked No. 3 in MLB.com’s top-100 prospects list.

Right fielder Braedon Karpathios (.799 OPS) went 2-for-4 with a walk, a run scored and his sixth steal.

Left fielder Kaden Hollow (.853 OPS) went 1-for-2 with an RBI and two walks.

Right-hander Garrett Hawkins (7-1, 1.62 ERA) earned the win with four strikeouts over two perfect innings in relief.

Right-hander Eric Yost (2.69 ERA) struck out five over five scoreless innings in the start.

Fort Wayne is 44-44.

Tacoma 9, Chihuahuas 7: LHP Kyle Hart (2-4, 4.83 ERA) allowed two runs in 2⅓ innings in relief in the loss. RHP Logan Gillaspie (7.50 ERA) allowed six runs in 3⅔ innings in the start. RF Yonathan Perlaza (.893 OPS) hit his 11th homer, doubled and drove in two runs. DH Luis Campusano (1.013 OPS) went 3-for-5 with an RBI and a run scored. C Rodolfo Duran (.664 OPS) went 1-for-4 with three RBIs and a walk.

 

DOUBLE-A SAN ANTONIO (49-40)

Amarillo 5, Missions 0: RHP Victor Lizarraga (2-7, 5.79 ERA) struck out six but allowed four runs — two earned — in four innings in the loss. RHP Tyson Neighbors (3.38 ERA) struck out three while recording the final five outs. Singles from SS Francisco Acuña (.741 OPS) and RF Moises Gomez (.713 OPS) were the Missions’ only two hits.

 

LOW SINGLE-A LAKE ELSINORE (41-48)

Storm 7, Rancho Cucamonga 0: RHP Kannon Kemp (2-3, 5.28 ERA) struck out five over five shutout innings in relief in the win. RHP Bryan Balzer (7.41 ERA) struck out four over three innings of one-hit ball in the start. DH Kavares Tears (.728 OPS) drove in three runs on two doubles. C Carlos Rodriguez (.910 OPS) went 1-for-4 with three RBIs.

 

ROOKIE ACL PADRES (14-43)

Dodgers 13, Padres 6: DH Alex McCoy (.992 OPS) went 1-for-4 with a double, two RBIs and a run scored. 2B Luis De Leon (.778 OPS) went 2-for-3 with an RBI, two walks and three runs scored. CF Donte Grant (.724 OPS) went 2-for-4 with an RBI and his 17th steal.
