SAN ANTONIO – One man is dead and another is critically injured after a shooting at a Northwest Side apartment complex.
The shooting happened around 2:45 a.m. Friday at the La Risa Apartments off Babcock Road near Overbrook Drive.
Police said officers arrived to find a 48-year-old man dead inside a vehicle from multiple gunshot wounds. A 42-year-old man was also found outside the vehicle suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
The injured man was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Police said the two men were sitting inside the vehicle when two suspects walked up and opened fire, striking the first man several times. The second man then got out of the vehicle and tried to run away, but the suspects shot him multiple times.
No word on the motive for the shootings.
