Scottsdale to spend community development block grant funding on low- and moderate-income families

he City of Scottsdale will spend approximately $1.5 million in community development block grants to help low- and moderate-income families in the city.

The city council voted 7-0 during its April 28 meeting to set how the grant money would be spent in fiscal year 2026-27, which begins July 1.

The plan still needs approval from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development though.
