MORNING BUZZ: Alligator spotted strolling down Meeting Street in downtown Charleston

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) — An alligator was spotted taking an unusual stroll through downtown Charleston, surprising people along one of the city’s busiest streets.

The alligator was seen walking down Meeting Street near Mozzo Deli on Wednesday evening. Alligators are most active during the warmer months, but sightings in the heart of downtown are rare.
