An auto parts store was ransacked in South Los Angeles following a street takeover in the area early Monday.

Shattered glass and merchandise scattered all across the floor and the parking lot.

The Los Angeles Police Department says this is something they have been dealing with recently.

Officers first responded to a street takeover on the 4300 block of Main Street near Vernon Avenue at around 1:30 a.m.

People broke into the auto parts store through the front glass doors. Tire marks were seen out on the street in front of the AutoZone.

It is not yet clear how much merchandise was taken and how many people were involved.

One neighbor said there were easily dozens involved in the incident.

This store is not the only AutoZone to have been targeted in the area. Another Autozone in the Vermont Vista area was hit twice, also stemming from street takeovers.

No arrests have been made but police are reviewing video from the store.
