CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WCHS) — A downed tree has closed Bridge Road in Charleston on Monday morning.

The tree is blocking most of the road toward the bottom of the hill. Crews on scene have closed the road in both directions.

The tree also knocked out power to about 200 customers in the area, according to Appalachian Power.
