HOUSTON – Houston police are investigating after a man was found shot multiple times inside a pickup truck on the city’s southwest side Tuesday morning.
According to police, officers responded to a 911 call around 12:40 a.m. in the 10200 block of West Bellfort near Dover Street.
When officers arrived, they found a 40-year-old man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds inside a pickup truck.
Investigators say the man may have been shot 30 to 40 minutes before the 911 call was made.
The victim was transported to a hospital in critical condition.
At this time, police say they do not know who shot the man or what led up to the shooting. No weapons were recovered at the scene.
The investigation remains ongoing, and no arrests have been made.
