PHOENIX (AZFamily) — Phoenix shoppers may soon have two new places to stock up on Trader Joe’s favorites.
The California-based grocery chain plans to open new locations in Camelback East and Desert Ridge, according to the company’s website and city records.
Recently filed liquor license documents show intent for a new store at the Arcadia Crossing shopping center near Micro Center, which opened late last year.
The location, which will sit near 44th Street and Thomas Road, is expected to open in December 2026.
Meanwhile, construction is underway on another Trader Joe’s at Desert Ridge Marketplace near Loop 101 (Pima Freeway) and Tatum Boulevard.
That location is replacing a former Joann Fabric and Craft store, though an opening date has not been announced.
The two stores would add to Trader Joe’s existing Phoenix locations in Ahwatukee, Paradise Valley Marketplace, and the Biltmore area. Trader Joe’s has more than 20 locations across Arizona.
