Jacksonville Police Department investigating a shots fired incident
JACKSONVILLE, Ill. (WICS) – On Sunday, June 14, 2026, at approximately 2:45 a.m., Officers with the Jacksonville Police Department responded to the 1000 block of N. Clay St., for a report of shots fired.
During the investigation, officers discovered evidence that shots had been fired. Officers believe that no one was injured from the incident. This incident remains under investigation and no arrests have been made at this time.
