GLENDALE, AZ (AZFamily) — A woman is hospitalized after she was involved in a dirt bike crash late Monday night in Glendale.
Glendale Police said officers responded to the reported crash around 10 p.m. near Dysart Road and Northern Parkway.
Police said the woman was driving a dirt bike when it appears she lost control and crashed.
The woman sustained life-threatening injuries, police said, and she was taken to a hospital for treatment.
Dysart Road was closed in the area overnight, but it reopened around 3 a.m. Tuesday.
As detectives were investigating the crash, a vehicle drove into the closed scene and almost crashed into police cruisers and officers. A man who was driving that vehicle was arrested for driving under the influence.
