Scottsdale Unified School District Superintendent Dr. Scott Menzel got a raise and a three-year contract extension during the June 23 district governing board meeting.
The board voted 3-2 to give Menzel a raise from $225,000 annually to $245,000 in his base pay and give him a chance to earn another $45,000 in performance pay.
Board President Dr. Donna Lewis, Vice President Mike Sharkey and board member Dr. Matthew Pittinsky voted in favor of the raise and contract extension.
