PHOENIX (AZFamily) — Two people died in a suspected murder-suicide at a north Phoenix apartment Tuesday afternoon.
Around 3:30 p.m., Phoenix police received reports about a disturbance at an apartment complex near North Valley Parkway and Sonoran Desert Drive, east of Interstate 17. Officers arrived and found Alyssa Ann Sydow-Hoffert, 42, and Henry Arthur Sydow-Hoffert, 59, dead inside the home.
Detectives say that Alyssa died of multiple gunshots, while Henry died of a self-inflicted gunshot.

A large crime scene was seen at the complex into the evening hours on Tuesday, with a Phoenix police command van and other patrol vehicles around the home.
No additional details were released. The investigation remains active.
