To celebrate America’s 250th birthday, Grammy-winning Tank and the Bangas perform live at the Skirball Cultural Center. The New Orleans-based group’s performance features a mix of spoken word poetry, jazz, soul and hip-hop in honor of the nation’s past and future.

Rustic Canyon Multi-Course Experience — July 5

A culinary adventure, the multi-course experience from Rustic Canyon includes one to two generous tastes from multiple dishes on the menu. The experience, recommended for one to four people, is $85 and provides a taste of nearly everything from the kitchen. It’s also available into the week, Sunday to Thursday.

Returning for its 10th year, Smorgasburg Ice Cream Alley celebrates L.A.’s independent ice cream makers. The event, held at ROW DTLA, features a lineup of local favorites, including SadGirl Creamery, Moom Maam, Bernie’s, Churros El Bochito and more.
The Northwind Experience — Now open

Located at the California Yacht Club in Marina del Rey, this upscale waterfront dining and cocktail destination includes weekend brunch, live entertainment, private events and full-vessel buyouts. The historic 135-foot yacht, originally commissioned in 1930, once hosted notable figures, including Sir Winston Churchill and Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis.
