You could call it Christmas in July, but swap the “ho ho ho” for “yo yo yo,” says a promo video from rapper Snoop Dogg, a friend of Raising Cane’s Founder Todd Graves. In a fairly bizarre video where good boys and girls (and men and women) get a chicken finger tossed at them from Snoop’s flying red convertible, the rapper finishes by pouring a pitcher of Cane’s sauce out the side and onto three unsuspecting people.
That won’t happen in reality. Or so we can hope.

If the Snoop collab seems silly or strange, it’s actually just a regular day for Caniacs. Recently, the chicken finger chain got Cardi B to pretend she uses Cane’s sauce as moisturizer in an April Fools’ prank; it redesigned a D-FW restaurant in Dallas Cowboys blue; and it added a “tunnel of love” at a Grand Prairie drive-through for Valentine’s Day.
The National Chicken Finger Day required purchase, a Box Combo, is a four-piece chicken finger meal with crinkle-cut fries, Cane’s sauce, Texas toast, cole slaw and a drink. Customers can order inside the restaurant, in the drive-through, via the mobile app or online to get the free chicken finger on July 27, 2025.
Yes, it’s chicken finger, singular: one per Box Combo.
No limit on the number of redemptions.
Cane’s founder Graves created National Chicken Finger Day in 2010 “to give the chicken finger the spotlight it deserves,” according to a Cane’s press release. The company trademarked it in 2019.
