EASTON, Pa. – Anyone wanting to be part of a big crowd as they watch the season finale of Love Island can head to the Easton Public Market this weekend.
Easton Main Street Initiative is transforming the Air Products Plaza at the Easton Public Market into “the Villa” for a free community watch party celebrating the finale on Sunday, July 12, according to a news release from the Greater Easton Development Partnership.
The organization says the festivities begin at 8:30 p.m., with the highly anticipated finale airing at 9 p.m. on the plaza’s giant outdoor LED screen.
While the Easton Public Market will be closed for the evening, attendees are encouraged to bring their favorite snacks, blankets or lawn chairs and settle in for a fun summer night under the stars, the partnership says.
The partnership says this season has a special hometown connection for Easton, “making the finale an even more exciting event to experience together as a community.”
Themed activities will take place throughout the evening, and everyone is encouraged to show up in their best Love Island-inspired outfit for the occasion, the partnership says.
The watch party is free and open to the public. The Easton Public Market is located at 325 Northampton St., with the Air Products Plaza situated directly behind the market.
The event is weather permitting. Guests are encouraged to follow the Easton Public Market’s social media channels for any updates prior to the event at EastonMainStreet.org.
“Reality TV is always more fun when you’re watching it with a crowd,” said Julie VanOsdol, Main Street manager for EMSI.
