American Heritage Credit Union is planning to open first Lehigh Valley location.
The Philadelphia-based credit union purchased a property on Cedar Crest Boulevard for $1.475 million in December 2025.
American Heritage Credit Union is bringing its first Lehigh Valley branch to Salisbury Township, near Allentown, marking a continued expansion of the Philadelphia-based institution across the region.
The credit union plans to open at 1120 Cedar Crest Blvd., a former bank branch with drive-thru lanes.
The company CEO Bruce K. Foulke was not immediately available for comment.
The two-story building offers 4,000 square feet of office space. An opening date has not been announced, and a spokesperson did not respond to requests for comment.
The institution currently operates more than 35 locations across Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Forbes magazine named it one of America’s Best-in-State Credit Unions in 2026 in both states — the fourth consecutive year it received the recognition in Pennsylvania.
