LA CROSSE (WKBT) — If you’ve got a home project on your to-do list, La Crosse County officials say now is a good time to stock up for free.
La Crosse’s Reuse Room is running out of space and is inviting the public to stop in and take what they want or need. Available items include paints, stains, cleaning supplies and gardening products.
“Our technicians work really hard to sort all of the materials that come and any of it that is still in good, usable condition they place into this room so that people can actually use it for its intended purpose,” said Jackie Davis, operations coordinator for the La Crosse County Solid Waste Department.
The Reuse Room is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. It’s located at the La Crosse County Solid Waste Site.
