WARREN – A home-healthcare business in Warren has reported that another company is fraudulently using their Medicaid license number and business software, according to a police report filed over the weekend.
The owner of Rhonda’s House Home Care Services, Rhonda Bennett, told police that a company they had previously partnered with back in January had now locked her out of her own operating system and business software.
Bennett reported the company was also fraudulently using her Medicaid license to operate.
In a phone conversation, Bennett told 21 News that no customer or patient data had been compromised as a result of the fraudulent activity. She declined to speak further on the issue, before talking with an attorney.
According to the police report, Bennet intended to contact Medicaid Monday to report the issue.
