School bus transporting students crashes into Parkville building

Two adults and one child were transported to hospitals with minor injuries after a school bus crashed into a building Tuesday afternoon in Parkville, according to the Baltimore County Fire Department.

Emergency crews were called at around 2:25 p.m. to respond to a crash involving a bus in the 7800 block of Harford Road.
According to the fire department, eight additional patients were evaluated on the scene but refused medical transport.
The Baltimore County Public Schools told WBAL-TV 11 News the bus was transporting students who attend the Maryland School of the Blind. It is unclear how many students were on the bus at the time of the crash.
School responds
The Maryland School for the Blind issued a statement confirming a bus transporting students from the school was involved in the accident and administrators responded immediately to the scene.
“We are grateful to the Baltimore County Fire Department, EMS, law enforcement, and hospital personnel for their prompt response and care,” a school spokesperson said in a written statement.
The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
