Alabama commission approves funding for PBS programming survey
BIRMINGHAM, Ala. —
The Alabama Educational Television Foundation Authority has approved funding for a public opinion survey to evaluate Alabama Public Television’s affiliation with PBS.
The authority decided to use money from its rainy day fund to cover the cost of the survey.
The survey results will contribute to the commission’s ongoing review of PBS programming.
The commission had previously approved the survey earlier this year but did not allocate funding for it.
