Redditch Borough Council are working in partnership with Redditch Community Runners to deliver these sustainable free sessions, suitable for all women, young and old.

The council are also working in partnership with Rubicon Leisure, who have provided the additional benefit of four free gym classes for attendees of these new sessions.

The four-week course starts Monday 4th August, at 11am, meeting in the Visitor Centre at Arrow Valley Country Park.

Portfolio Holder for Leisure & Recreation, Cllr Juliet Barker Smith, said: “It is a great way to get moving and take care of our health and wellbeing whilst also being good fun too. We are using our partnerships to the best of our ability in order to get every benefit possible for our communities and residents.”

Attendees at the walks will receive a code from the session leader, that they will need to quote, when emailing samantha.bevan@rubiconleisure.co.uk, to book onto the classes in order to get them for free.

The four weekly classes that attendees of these ‘Talk & Walk’ sessions have FREE access to are :

•    Mondays – 7:10pm – Body Combat
•    Wednesdays – 9:15am – Sh’Bam
•    Wednesdays – 6:15pm – Body Combat
•    Thursdays – 10:15am – Sh’Bam

Body Combat is a high-energy martial arts-inspired workout that is totally non-contact. The Sh’Bam class is a fresh and fun dance workout that builds fitness and encourages expressive movement.
