TOMBALL, Texas – A man has died after a shooting off Grand Parkway in the Tomball area, according to the Harris County sheriff.

What we know:

Deputies were called on Sunday to the 22400 block of Pinewood Place, just off Highway 99 near Spring Stuebner Road.

According to Sergeant Jason Brown, one man, between 50-60 years of age, was found with gunshot wounds and later pronounced deceased.

Officials say at least one or two people came to the home and interacted with the victim before shots rang out.

Sgt. Brown says the victim was related to the family who lives in the home, but the victim did not live there himself.

It’s also believed that the suspect(s) are related to the family.

Investigators are working to get surveillance footage of the suspect’s vehicle.

What we don’t know:

No one has been identified at this time. 

The victim is only described as a Hispanic male between 50–60 years old. Sgt. Brown says the victim was with distant relatives at the time of the shooting, and officials are waiting to notify loved ones who were closer to the victim.

The motive for the shooting is unclear.
