When will it cool down?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>North Texans hoping a\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.dallasnews.com\/news\/weather\/\" data-link=\"native\" class=\"\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">cool down<\/a> will arrive soon will have to wait a little longer.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Another stretch of triple-digit temperatures is on its way to North Texas, accompanied by an elevated wildfire threat.<\/p>\n<p>Friday is forecast to see a high of 102 degrees, with a low of 79. The heat index, or \u201cfeels like\u201d temperature, is projected to reach 107 degrees.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>North Texans may see some clouds and wind gusts, which are expected to reach 24 mph, according to the weather service.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Little to no rainfall is expected in Dallas-Fort Worth for the next week, according to the weather service. The region\u2019s triple-digit heat is also expected to continue for the next week at least, according to the weather service.<\/p>\n<p>Fire weather concerns are also expected to continue over the next several days as the humidity\u00a0remains low and winds stay high.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cVirtually no changes are anticipated to the persistent hot, dry pattern which grips North Central Texas,\u201d the weather service said in its Thursday afternoon forecast.<\/p>\n<p>The weather service encourages North Texans to take precautions such as avoiding outdoor burning, securing any loose tow chains and never tossing lit cigarettes.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>FRIDAY<\/strong>: Bright and sunny, breezy, hot.
