His sister, Melissa DeNino, took to Facebook with a tribute to the TV star, writing that he \u201cwas so damn funny and witty.\u201d <\/p>\n
She added, along with childhood photos, \u201cHe was fiercely loyal to those he loved.\u00a0He had a huge heart, always.\u00a0I can\u2019t explain what it\u2019s like to lose a sibling.\u201d <\/p>\n
\u201cSomeone who\u2019s\u00a0been there from the beginning and shares the same memories. No matter what we were going through, I loved him immensely.\u00a0Life as I know it will never be the same.\u201d<\/p>\n

De Nino appeared on the series\u2019 second season, tying the knot with Jessica Castro in 2014 and deciding to stay together after their trial period. <\/p>\n
However, the relationship didn\u2019t work out, and the former couple wound up parting ways in 2015, shortly after the season aired. <\/p>\n
According to ABC News, in June 2015, De Nino shared a partial image of a restraining order Castro had filed against him, saying it \u201cdisgusted\u201d him and had him \u201cin awe.\u201d <\/p>\n
De Nino and Castro divorced in 2015 following their televised 2014 wedding. <\/p>\n

At the time, Castro\u2019s attorney told the news outlet that De Nino allegedly made threats against his co-star and her family members and insisted that their priority was protection from \u201call threats to her safety and well-being.\u201d<\/p>\n
