Several North Texas areas, including Dallas and Tarrant counties, have issued <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dallasnews.com\/news\/weather\/article\/prevent-report-wildfires-north-texas-fire-risk-22386661.php\" data-link=\"native\" class=\"\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">burn bans<\/a> in response to the elevated wildfire threat.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Saturday will see a high of 102 degrees, with a low of 81. The heat index, or \u201cfeels like\u201d temperature, is expected to hit 106 degrees.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Temperatures will peak around 5 p.m., and the heat index is expected to stay within triple digits from 12-8 p.m. The weather service has not yet issued a heat advisory for Saturday, but advisories are likely for this weekend and early next week.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The hot, dry pattern affecting North Texas is expected to remain for the next three to five days, according to the weather service.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The weather service encourages drinking plenty of water, limiting time outside to the cooler part of the day, wearing light-colored and breathable clothing and taking breaks when possible in the shade or air conditioning.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>SATURDAY<\/strong>: Hot with plenty of sunshine.
