Their first year in debate. It was their first representing their school in the contest at the University of Texas at Austin.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI joined debate because I thought it would be fun to do something with my sister,\u201d Madison said. \u201cI didn\u2019t really know what CX [Cross-Examination] was at first, but the more I learned, the more I loved it.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHaving a sister as a partner can be a challenge,\u201d Abigail said with a smile. \u201cWe argue and bicker like siblings do, but I love being with someone who knows me so well. We can just look at each other after a round and laugh about it.
