The Eagles preseason is officially underway with a kickoff by Tyler Loop. Quez Watkins returns the kickoff to the PHI 29. (Eagles 0 \u2013 Ravens 0)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Tyler Huntley throws deep left field to a wide open Matthew Hibner for his first NFL catch. The rookie tight end for the Ravens is forced out of bounds by Andre&#8217; Sam at PHI 41 for a gain of 29 yards.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Sack! Jeremiah Trotter Jr. trips up Tyler Huntley before the Ravens quarterback could escape the pocket. The Ravens stay at the PHI 28.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Another sack! Defensive tackle Ty Robinson beats Ravens guard Emery Jones Jr. and gets to Tyler Huntley, pushing the Ravens back seven yards to the PHI 35.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>No good! Tyler Loop misses a 49 yard field goal wide right. The Eagles get the ball back at the PHI 39. (Eagles 0 \u2013 Ravens 0)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Eagles offense goes three-and-out. Braden Mann punts 47 yards to the BLT 10 after a fair catch by LaJohntay Webster.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Tyler Huntley finds rookie wide receiver Ja&#8217;Kobi Lane open in the middle of the field for 18 yards for his first NFL catch. Michael Carter II and Mac McWilliams were in on the tackle at the BLT 38.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Ryan Eckley punts 27 yards from BLT 42. Eagles offense starts at the PHI 31.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Baltimore&#8217;s defense forces another three-and-out. Braden Mann punts from the PHI 36. LaJohntay Webster is tackled by the Eagles&#8217; rookie long snapper Rocco Underwood at the BLT 20.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Eagles defense forces a 4th-consecutive punt from Baltimore. Ryan Eckley punts from 40 yards from the 50, Britain Covey calls for a fair catch at the BLT 10. Tanner McKee replaces Andy Dalton at QB.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Ravens force a fourth three-and-out from Philadelphia. LaJohntay Webster returns Mann&#8217;s punt for 19 yards to PHI 47. Rookie safety Kapena Gushiken was in on the tackle and Jose Ramirez.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Touchdown Baltimore. From the PHI 16, Ravens rookie quarterback Joe Fagnano finds fellow rookie receiver Ja&#8217;Kobi Lane over the middle at the 4-yard line. Lane forced his way into the end zone with his momentum. (Eagles 0 \u2013 Ravens 7)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Eagles get their first first-down of the game. Tanner McKee finds Darius Cooper on a slant for 13 yards to the PHI 44.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Braden Mann punts 35 yards from the BLT 46. The ball is downed at the BLT 11.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Ravens rookie receiver Elijah Sarratt makes his first NFL catch for 18 yards on a deep ball to the left side of the field by Joe Fagnano. Mac McWilliams is called for a holding penalty on Sarratt but the call is declined. The Ravens&#8217; offense advances from the BLT 33 to PHI 49.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Interception! After Joe Fagnano led Baltimore to the PHI 5, Kelee Ringo makes an incredible fingertip catch in the back of the end zone for the turnover, giving the Eagles the ball back before halftime and preventing the Ravens from making it a two-possession game. Ringo had Ravens receiver Xavier Guillory fully covered.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Halftime (Eagles 0 \u2013 Ravens 7)<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>From rugby to football, Eagles rookie outside linebacker gets his first ever quarterback hit, forcing an incompletion and 4th down. This comes just one play after Smael Mondon Jr. also forced an errant throw from Joe Fagnano with a quarterback hit.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Ravens end their opening drive of the second half with a field goal. Tyler Loop converts from 42 yards out to extend the Raven&#8217;s lead. (Eagles 0 &#8211; Ravens 10)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Braden Mann punts from the BLT 22 after Keyon Martin blitzed and sacked Tanner McKee for a nine-yard loss on third down. Kapena Gushiken tackles Elijah Sarratt at BLT 44, but an offensive holding penalty on the return sends Baltimore back to the BLT 31.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Fumble recovery! After Joe Fagnano completed a pass right to Elijah Sarratt, Shaun Wade punched the ball out from behind on the run-after-catch. After bouncing around on the ground, Ambry Thomas recovers for the Eagles at the PHI 24!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Following an incomplete pass from Tanner McKee to Darius Cooper, Braden Mann punts after another three-and-out to the BLT 23. Elijah Sarratt returns for eight yards before being tackled by rookie safety Maximus Pulley. The Ravens offense starts at the BLT 31.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Rookie Adam Randall rushes four yards for a Baltimore touchdown after shedding contact from multiple players. Tyler Loop converts his third extra point of the game. (Eagles 17 \u2013 Ravens 0)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Despite 2026 5th-round pick Cole Payton checking in at quarterback, the Baltimore defense forces another three-and-out from the Eagles offense. Braden Mann punts for 51 yards from the PHI 15. Dayton Wade returns the punt four yards to the BLT 28. Samori Toure and newcomer Brandon George were in on the tackle.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Sack! Tarron Jackson, in his second stint with the Eagles, gets to Ravens quarterback Austin Reed at the PHI 41 for a nine-yard loss, forcing a third-and-18.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Baltimore touchdown. Austin Reed scrambles left from the PHI 14, taking it in himself. Tyler Loop converts the extra point. (Eagles 0 &#8211; Ravens 24)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Cole Payton scrambles right for the first down on a 17-yard rush to the BLT 35, keeping the drive alive.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>TOUCHDOWN! Escaping right, Cole Payton throws across his body and finds Erik Ezukanma in the back corner of the end zone for a six-yard pass. The rookie quarterback has his first NFL touchdown. Jake Elliott&#8217;s extra point is good.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Austin Reed kneels to run the clock out.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Final: Ravens 24, Eagles 7<\/p>\n<p>Jihaad Campbell played in the first quarter for the Eagles&#8217; defense, contributing heavily in the Eagles&#8217; run defense in his limited snaps. in addition to his five tackles, Jeremiah Trotter Jr. got the first sack of the game by tripping up Tyler Huntley from behind, preventing a QB scramble.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;That dude&#8217;s a star, man. He has some tricks up his sleeve, especially in the run game, knowing how to get off blocks,&#8221; Campbell said of Trotter Jr. after the game. &#8220;Just having really great block destruction and having really great eyes in the passing game, knowing how to communicate. You got to love playing with a guy like Trot because he&#8217;s very instinctual. He&#8217;s just a great overall backer.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Second-year linebacker Smael Mondon Jr. delivered some crushing blows alongside rookie Deontae Lawson. Mondon Jr. defended the inside run game well, stifling multiple runs before they could get started.<\/p>\n<p>The rookie quarterback shoed off his mobility, rushing for 45 yards on three attempts, extending plays and kept a touchdown-drive alive with a scramble on a 4th-and-3 in the fourth quarter. Payton also showed composure under pressure, finding Erik Ezukanma for a 6-yard touchdown after being forced out of the pocket.<\/p>\n<p>Cornerback Mac McWilliams led the team with 10 total tackles, appearing all over the field all game.<\/p>\n<p>Two cornerbacks forced turnovers from the Ravens offense. On a 1st-and-goal, Kelee Ringo intercepted Joe Fagnano in the end zone, preventing the Ravens from extending their lead before halftime.
