GOODYEAR, Ariz.<\/strong> – A man is dead and another is injured following reports of gunshots at a house party in Goodyear overnight.<\/p>\n What we know:<\/p>\n There were multiple reports of juveniles and young adults hearing multiple gunshots while leaving a house party near Indian School Road and Citrus Road<\/a> in Goodyear just before 2 a.m. on Aug. 15.<\/p>\n “There’s a gigantic bullet hole in the back of that white car that was right here, and you can see obviously all of the blood splatter going two houses down,” neighbor Chris Wagner told FOX 10.<\/p>\n Goodyear Police arrived to a “chaotic scene,” and found a man near Indian School Road with life-threatening injuries. He was taken to a nearby hospital where he later died.<\/p>\n Another man suffered a minor graze wound and took himself to a nearby hospital, according to the police department. He has since been treated and released.<\/p>\n What they’re saying:<\/p>\n Neighbors described how it sounded hearing the overnight gunshots in what some say is a relatively safe area.<\/p>\n “I thought it was fireworks,” a neighbor said. “We do get a lot of fireworks going off at odd times, but not gunshots.”<\/p>\n “Just several barrages of gunfire,” another neighbor added. “When I looked out the window, the street had tons of cars, kids were running, getting up on people’s porches.”<\/p>\n “My husband was up, and he heard multiple noises, bang I guess,” neighbor Lona Bruncie said. “He thought they were\u2026they sounded like gunshots\u2026.We’ve lived here six years.
