Last month, I was driving along streets in the southeast part of Lancaster city trying to find streets that had recently been resurfaced with tar and chip for a Watchdog story.<\/p>\n

While I was driving past Holly Pointe Park, I saw what looked like a deer standing near the playground equipment.<\/p>\n

I wanted a picture, but the lens I wanted to use was in the back of my car. Rather than get out of my car and risk scaring the deer away, I drove down the street a block or so and then got out of my car to fetch the lens.<\/p>\n

When I got back to the park, the deer had moved a little and was nibbling on leaves. I just put down my window and took the picture from inside my car.<\/p>\n

It looked like the deer was watching me, too, but it didn\u2019t look like it was too concerned with me.<\/p>\n

THE METHOD: Nikon D6 camera with a 600 mm f-4 lens. Exposure: The shutter speed was at 1\/250 of a second with an aperture of f10 and the ISO was set at 1250.<\/p>\n
