Trump aide Natalie Harp\u2019s frequent presence around the president is raising new questions about her influence and access after she was reportedly among the select group of aides who joined him on a secure flight out of Turkey last month. <\/p>\n

Harp, a former host for the right-wing One America News Network, is often photographed with Trump, including accompanying him this weekend on a trip to his golf club in New Jersey. <\/p>\n
She\u2019s been a figure in Trump\u2019s orbit for years, and was nicknamed the \u201chuman printer\u201d during Trump\u2019s 2024 campaign because she carried a printer with her to print off news articles and social media posts that might interest Trump.<\/p>\n
In recent weeks, Trump antagonizers have pushed unverified innuendo about Harp and Trump that appears to be based solely on the optics of the much-younger Harp being spotted regularly with the president. <\/p>\n
Sen. Jon Ossoff, D-Ga., said of Trump on Saturday he \u201cdoesn\u2019t want to do the job. He wants to build his ballroom and travel with Natalie on their apparently defenseless flying palace gifted by the emir of Qatar,\u201d and Michigan state Senate Majority Whip Mallory McMorrow, former Democratic Senate candidate, wrote on X Sunday, \u201cOk I\u2019ll bite. Ossoff was referring to Trump\u2019s reported secret plane switch while departing Turkey last month, from the Qatar-gifted Air Force One jet to another plane, with a select group of aides, including Harp, The New York Times reported previously. <\/p>\n
New York Times reporter and Trump biographer Maggie Haberman, who reported on the ruse, speculated why Harp accompanied Trump, telling MS NOW Harp is Trump\u2019s \u201chuman binkie.\u201d<\/p>\n

Trump fired back at Ossoff when asked for a response to Ossoff\u2019s comments about Harp, telling reporters on Monday, \u201cyou mean Pee Wee Herman?\u201d White House spokesperson Steven Cheung also attacked Ossoff on X, writing<\/a>, \u201cinstead of denigrating hard working people serving their country, Jon should look deep into his soul and ask himself why he\u2019s a miserable person who hates this country. It\u2019s because he\u2019s a radical, extremist Dumocrat.\u201d CNN pundit Scott Jennings on Monday blasted the seeming undertone of Ossoff\u2019s remarks, tweeting<\/a>: \u201cThis is quite a message for the Democratic Party to send to young women working in politics. Pretty ugly stuff.\u201d<\/p>\n Key Background<\/p>\n Harp, 35, entered Trump\u2019s orbit in 2019, after she praised legislation he signed that she said allowed her to obtain experimental treatment for bone cancer. She spoke at the 2020 Republican National Convention and worked on Trump\u2019s 2024 campaign. She was hired at the start of Trump\u2019s second term as executive assistant to the president. Harp\u2019s level of control over the flow of information to Trump raised concerns among some in Trump\u2019s circle that she could have undue influence over his perception of current events and his social media posts, The New York Times reported<\/a> previously, citing unnamed sources who said she often sourced news from conspiratorial sources and fed Trump positive press about himself. Harp is often the final eye on many of Trump\u2019s incendiary social media posts, dictating his rants and pressing the button to post them, alarming other aides who aren\u2019t there to stop them, according to The Times. <\/strong>Haberman and Times reporter Jonathan Swan also wrote in their book \u201cRegime Change,\u201d released in July, that Harp left \u201cadoring\u201d and \u201cintimate\u201d letters to Trump that \u201craised the eyebrows of the Secret Service during the campaign,\u201d Swan told CNN<\/a> last month. \u201cShe\u2019s just totally devoted to him.
