Comedian Michael Yo will be the first to tell you, there\u2019s no place like his hometown of Houston! And as the host of A&E\u2019s new show, \u201c1000 Ways to Dine,\u201d he should know.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s the [Houston] Improv that put me on the map,\u201d Yo said before listing off fellow funny guys from the city. \u201cBig shout out to Ali Siddiq from Houston, Texas. Mo Amer from Houston, Texas, like that was our home club in Houston. That’s where we worked out. That’s where we went up.\u201d<\/p>\n
Yo also recommends stopping by the House of Blues if you\u2019re visiting America\u2019s 4th largest city. He\u2019s set to hit the stage there on September 13 for a comedy set.<\/p>\n
\u201cI just love that place. It’s so much fun coming home [and] performing in front of friends and family. It’s great,\u201d Yo said.<\/p>\n

He recalls one place from childhood that he loved to grab good old-fashioned burgers after games.<\/p>\n
