MOORE TWP., Pa. – Age may be just a number, but one golfer’s latest accomplishment in Northampton County is one for the record books.<\/p>\n
69 News Reporter Sydney Kay was in Moore Township with more about an unforgettable shot that was made by a 93-year-old golfer.<\/p>\n
Angelo Trinchere shot a hole-in-one!<\/p>\n
Angelo’s son, Tony Trinchere, was at the golf course that day.\u00a0<\/p>\n
“It was great,” he said.<\/p>\n
Tony said it was the last hole of the day they played.\u00a0Everyone took a tee shot, and he thought, ”Dad, that was a pretty good shot,'” he said. “That’s close.”<\/p>\n
When they got to the green, they noticed there were three golf balls on it, but one wasn’t.<\/p>\n
Tony said his “Dad walks up to the hole, and he looks, and in the back of the hole you don’t see anything. As you got closer, he looked in the front of the hole and there it was.”<\/p>\n
“His arms went up in the air, and he was so happy,” he said.<\/p>\n
“That gives me 27 more years to get a\u00a0hole-in-one, because I haven’t had one yet,” he said, laughing.<\/p>\n
“It was just a perfect shot,” Angelo said. “It was a great feeling.”<\/p>\n
He says it happened because he was with his son, cousin, and friend.<\/p>\n

Brad Paukovits, General Manager of the Whitetail Golf Club, said it’s rare to have a\u00a0hole-in-one. He said Angelo plays at the club every week.<\/p>\n
What does it mean to Tony to see his dad accomplish this feat?<\/p>\n
“I was fortunate to be at the right place at the right time,” he said.<\/p>\n
“Three words: Never say never.”<\/p>\n
“So proud to his son,” he said.<\/p>\n
