The project will not be complete until about the time the Dallas Stars and Dallas Mavericks move into their new digs in 2031.  <\/p>\n<p>After eight months of work, TxDOT Public Information Officer Kenna Mitchell provides key updates on where the project stands and what drivers should expect as work continues.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Current Status &amp; Timeline<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/p>\n<ul class=\"ee-ul\">\n<li><strong>Project Horizon:<\/strong> The multi-year infrastructure overhaul is roughly eight months into initial work, with an estimated final completion date targeted for 2031.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Active Work Zones:<\/strong> Construction activity is underway across the entire corridor, particularly between the I-35E and US 75 junctions.
