Masterman Secondary School in Pennsylvania, Davidson Academy in Nevada and School Without Walls High School in Washington, D.C., rounded out the top five.<\/p>\n<p original-article-post=\"\" origination_station=\"WNYW\" data-v-ec26887a=\"\" data-v-94395e58=\"\">Dig deeper:<\/p>\n<p data-v-94395e58=\"\">For the 2026-2027 Best High Schools rankings, U.S. News &amp; World Report evaluated nearly 18,000 public high schools nationwide to determine how well they educate students from diverse social and economic backgrounds.<\/p>\n<p data-v-94395e58=\"\">A school\u2019s overall score is determined by summing its performance across six weighted indicators.
