(WEAU) &#8211; The Railroad Pedestrian Bridge in Phoenix Park will be closed for maintenance Aug. 20, 2026, beginning at 6 a.m.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">According to the City of Eau Claire, pedestrians and bicyclists who use the bridge for leisure, exercise, or transportation will need to choose one of the alternate routes: the Madison Street Bridge to the north, the Phoenix Park Foot Bridge near Haymarket Plaza to the east, or the Grand Avenue pedestrian bridge to the south. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">The bridge is expected to reopen in the late afternoon. <\/p>\n<p>Copyright 2026 WEAU.
