Finn actually doesn\u2019t live in San Diego. His family moved to Texas five years ago, but he travels each summer for the junior lifeguard program.<\/p>\n
Renard said this was his favorite part of the year.<\/p>\n
\u201cHe\u2019s a character, super sweet. When they had brought him in, they were getting ready to perform his surgery, he can\u2019t move his arms. He, I guess, told them to remove the mask and he said, \u2018I just wanted to thank you all for doing the best to try to keep me alive,\u2019 And that\u2019s who he is,\u201d Renard said.<\/p>\n
