Heading into Monday night’s game between the Dallas Wings and New York Liberty, very few were giving Paige Bueckers and company a chance to pull off a win.<\/p>\n
Even as the home team, the Wings were heavy underdogs. They entered the game with a 7-19 record, while the Liberty were 17-7.<\/p>\n
Despite being the underdog, Dallas was able to pull out a huge upset win. Led by Bueckers and Arike Ogunbowale, the Wings finished off the game with a 92-82 victory.<\/p>\n

Following the game, Dallas was clearly pumped up about the win. The game carried over to social media.<\/p>\n

They used a rhyme to break down the game.<\/p>\n “upset hope you didn’t bet our net was too wet so sorry that Arike & PB are triple threats,” the post read<\/a>.<\/p>\n Speaking of Bueckers, she put together a strong performance. She scored 20 points on 7-for-12 shooting, including 2-for-4 from the three-point line to go along with six rebounds, four assists, and three steals.<\/p>\n Ogunbowale, on the other hand, racked up 20 points as well on 7-for-15 shooting. In addition to her 20 points, she dished out 14 assists in the win.<\/p>\n On the other side of the floor, Jonquel Jones led the Liberty in scoring with 18 points. Sabrina Ionescu had a solid game, scoring 17 points to go along with five assists.<\/p>\n
