The identity of the other two candidates was unclear at the announcement.<\/p>\n
The candidates said that one is named Rick, and the other Francis, who Mr Tucker said has a “double-barrelled” surname.<\/p>\n
They said their names would be on a press release later, but they were not on the press release.<\/p>\n
A party spokesperson later confirmed them as accountant Rick Mandelson and retired barrister Francis Haddon-Cave, who appears to have practiced in Hong Kong.<\/p>\n
Both are candidates for Lyons.<\/p>\n
Nationals seeking to renegotiate AFL deal\u00a0<\/p>\n
Mr Tucker’s decision to leave the Liberal party was due, in part, to his opposition to the proposed Macquarie Point stadium.<\/p>\n
