Speaking exclusively to The Independent<\/a>, Grant Harrold said Harry was a \u201cdaddy\u2019s boy\u201d in his youth and it was only a matter of time before he returned to rebuild his relationship with his father after the rift caused when he and Meghan dramatically quit royal life six years ago.<\/p>\n

But he cautioned that the Duchess of Sussex would likely struggle with her return to the UK, and suggested her husband could have given her \u201can ultimatum\u201d on coming back to Britain.<\/p>\n

And he warned that Prince William would likely be \u201cfurious\u201d with his brother\u2019s return after their public fallout, following Harry\u2019s barrage of accusations against him, Kate, the King and Queen Camilla in his memoir, Spare.<\/a><\/p>\n

Mr Harrold, who worked closely with William and Harry until 2011, said: \u201cHarry was always going to return to the UK<\/a> to be near his father. When you have a loved one going through different things to do with health and all sorts of other things, it makes you wonder if he [Harry] just wants to be closer.<\/p>\n

The Duchess of Sussex\u2018s acting role \u201ccame out of the blue\u201d, according to reports. <\/p>\n

Earlier, Australian site news.com.au reported that Meghan Markle had been offered an upcoming acting project in the UK, and suggested it was one of the reasons the couple decided to return to Britain <\/p>\n

Royal and entertainment correspondent Bronte Coy, who broke the story, told Sky News that the news came \u201cout of the blue\u201d and was a \u201csurprise\u201d.<\/p>\n

She said: “I learnt this from entertainment sources that Meghan has been offered, obviously a significant enough role that it’s something that’s got her very excited about moving back to Britain, a place honestly I think most of us and probably herself for a while, thought she’d never really return to in a permanent capacity.\u201d<\/p>\n

Ms Coy added that Harry was \u201cvery excited\u201d to return, telling the broadcaster: \u201cI’ve long been told he’d really like to have his children around that wider family network.\u201d<\/p>\n

The duchess was formerly an actress, known for her role as Rachel Zane in legal show Suits.<\/p>\n

Grant Harrold, the King’s former royal butler who previously worked closely with William and Harry, warned the Sussex’s return to the UK would anger Prince William<\/p>\n

Speaking exclusively to the The Independent, he said: “William will be furious. Harry has said some extraordinary things about the family. William is somebody that when you break trust and you go beyond a certain point, there’s no going back.<\/p>\n

\u201cBefore, William would have said ‘he’s 5,000\/6,000 miles away and it’s not my problem, he’s in another country’. But now he’s suddenly back on the doorstep. I just don’t think he’s going to be happy about the situation at all.”<\/p>\n

The Duke of Sussex and six other household names are set to find out how many millions of pounds they will have to pay initially to the Daily Mail\u2019s publisher in legal costs after their failed High Court case.<\/p>\n

The high-profile figures, also including Baroness Doreen Lawrence and Sir Elton John, sued Associated Newspapers Limited (ANL) over allegations of unlawful information-gathering.<\/p>\n

ANL strongly denied the claims which were heard at an 11-week trial in London earlier this year, with judge Mr Justice Nicklin dismissing all the cases in a judgment on July 7.<\/p>\n

The cases returned to the High Court for a two-day hearing over costs, where the court was told ANL\u2019s total costs were more than \u00a334 million.<\/p>\n

Mr Justice Nicklin is now due to give his decision on the size of an initial payment the group will make to ANL, as well as how the full costs will be assessed.<\/p>\n

The figures at Madame Tussauds London have been moved to the British \u201cculture capital\u201d zone, to stand among the likes of Sir David Attenborough, Harry Kane and William Shakespeare.<\/p>\n
