Prince Harry and his co-claimants have been ordered to pay<\/a> $11 million after losing their High Court case against the Daily Mail\u2019s publisher last month.<\/p>\n

The payment is to be made in the coming week, the BBC reported<\/a> Friday.<\/p>\n

The Duke of Sussex is on the hook for the hefty sum, along with Sir Elton John, David Furnish, Sir Simon Hughes, Sadie Frost, Liz Hurley and Baroness Doreen Lawrence.<\/p>\n

When the seven claimants lost their case in July, Associated Newspapers Limited (ANL) sought an interim payment until the exact legal costs were decided at future hearings.<\/p>\n

At the time, Judge Mr Justice Nicklin said the interim payment was due on Aug. 28.<\/p>\n

When the two-day costs hearing took place in late July, ANL requested up to $47 million in legal fees \u2014 and the judgment is currently pending.<\/p>\n

Harry\u2019s reps did not immediately respond to Page Six\u2019s requests for comment.<\/p>\n

When the initial verdict was reached, Harry raged against the \u201cshocking\u201d and \u201cunwarranted\u201d decision<\/a> in a joint statement with Lawrence.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt is a complete and obvious whitewash, but sadly not altogether unexpected,\u201d they wrote at the time.<\/p>\n

The news comes on the heels of news breaking that Harry and Markle (pictured above in December 2025) are relocating. meghan\/Instagram<\/p>\n

While Page Six hears the couple are relocating from Montecito<\/a>, California, to be closer to King Charles<\/a>, an insider told us Thursday that money also played a \u201cbig\u201d role<\/a> in the decision.<\/p>\n

\u201cAnything that comes in\u00a0instantly goes out,\u201d the source said of Harry and Markle\u2019s income, citing mortgages and security as major expenses.<\/p>\n

The duo, notably, haven\u2019t made plans to sell or rent their mansion<\/a>, we hear.<\/p>\n
