A conflict with the Chicago Bears preseason game Saturday night is forcing the national broadcast of the Cubs game against the Seattle Mariners to a secondary channel.<\/p>\n

After the April 4 Cubs-Guardians game in Cleveland \u2014 scheduled for a Fox Sports national broadcast \u2014 got rained out<\/a>, the network was allowed to choose another Cubs game. Fox opted for Saturday\u2019s 6:15 p.m. game in Seattle, one of three MLB games slated nationally that night.<\/p>\n

Because it\u2019s a national broadcast, the Cubs game won\u2019t air simultaneously on Marquee Sports Network.<\/p>\n

However, the Bears\u2019 6 p.m. preseason game against the Cincinnati Bengals<\/a> will be broadcast locally on Fox-32. That is forcing the Cubs-Mariners game to air in the Chicago area on Fox Chicago+ (WPWR-50).<\/p>\n
