How does it affect an 11-year-old compared with an 18-year-old?<\/p>\n MR:<\/strong> An 11-year-old may connect first with the fundamental ideas of fairness, courage, belonging and standing up for others. The exhibition can help that student understand that unfair systems are created by people\u2014and that people can also work together to change them.<\/p>\n An 18-year-old is likely to engage with additional layers: political power, civil resistance, sacrifice, imprisonment, democracy and the difficult work of reconciliation.
