PHOENIX (AZFamily)<\/b> \u2014 One man is dead and another has been detained after a shooting in north Phoenix on Monday night.<\/p>\n

Officers were called out to a home around 7:45 p.m. near 14th Street on Topeka Drive<\/a>, just north of Union Hills Drive. When they arrived, they found a man shot to death.<\/p>\n

Police said it\u2019s early in the investigation so not too many details are being released but they are talking to another man involved. No names and no motive have been released.<\/p>\n

Officers are asking the public to avoid the area for the rest of the night while detectives investigate.<\/p>\n
