LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — A restaurant in Louisville’s Highlands neighborhood closed abruptly, just days after its owner said he was transferring ownership of the property.<\/p>\n

The restaurant was opened by Isaac Fox in 2015. Just last week, his other restaurant, The Champagnery on Frankfort Avenue, also announced it was closing immediately<\/a> after seven years.<\/p>\n

That restaurant’s closing came less than a week after it announced Fox would be leaving and the restaurant would have new ownership.<\/p>\n

Employees of both restaurants claim they had no notice of the closure. Fox has also launched his own GoFundMe page.<\/p>\n

In a social media post, Fox said he sold La Chasse at a “serious loss” and it became immediately necessary to close his other restaurant as well.<\/p>\n

LBF reports Fox has yet to respond to their requests for comment.\u00a0<\/p>\n

It’s also unclear who was meant to be the new owner of La Chasse.<\/p>\n
