SAN DIEGO (CNS) \u2014 A 31-year-old man who was shot during an argument in an East San Diego alley was expected to survive his injury, the San Diego Police Department reported Saturday.<\/p>\n
SDPD officers responded shortly before 11 p.m. Friday to the east alley in the 4100 block of Chamoune Avenue in the Teralta East neighborhood, where they found a victim who had been shot in the leg, officers said.<\/p>\n
The victim and gunman were arguing when the suspect produced a silver revolver and fired two to three shots at the victim, according to police.<\/p>\n
The unidentified victim was hit once near his left hip. The suspect fled southbound through the alley, according to officers, who said the victim was taken by ambulance to a hospital. His injury was not considered life- threatening.<\/p>\n
The suspect was described by witnesses as a man in his 30s approximately 5-feet-7 inches tall and weighing 160 pounds, with black hair, wearing a black shirt and jeans. The SDPD’s Mid-City Division was handling the investigation.<\/p>\n
